 The old areas of Tbilisi are ideal for walking exploration. Many of the houses date from the 19th century and are interspersed with ancient churches and chapels. Galleries display paintings, ceramics and handcrafts. There are number of museums, including the State and Art Museums, containing unique artifacts and treasures.
