Day 1 - Arrival 1

Arrival in Baku, Azerbaijan. Overnight in Hotel..

Day 2 - Baku Sightseeing Tour

Breakfast in hotel. The sightseeing tour of Baku offers to get acquainted with top attractive monuments and historical places of the city. Walk in old town - “Icharishahar” as locals refer, the UNESCO world heritage site, and explore the Palace of Shirvanshahs, Maiden tower, Mosques and minarets, caravanserais and baths, get insight about the rich history of oriental side of Baku. Overnight in Baku.

Days 3 - Shemakhi – Yeddi Gumbaz - Sheki

Breakfast in hotel. Explore Shemakhi city the former capital of Shirvan Empire; visit Yeddi Gumbaz mausoleum, magnificent domes with mysterious atmosphere and Diri Baba tomb palace of Middle Ages. Overnight in Sheki at hotel

Day 4 - Sheki - Khan’s Palace – Kish village – Lagodekhi - Telavi

Breakfast in hotel. Sheki, the famous silk center, important spot of the Great Silk Road and ancient city of Azerbaijan, situated 700 m. surrounded by the mountains and forests of oak trees. Visit 18th century Khan's summer palace with magnificent frescos and exquisite stained glass work. Explore the treasures of Sheki History museum; depart to Georgia via Lagodekhi border. Overnight at hotel in Telavi.

Day 5 - Alaverdi – Gremi - Tbilisi

Breakfast in hotel. Explore Kakheti area, famous for vineyards and wine producing villages. Explore the spiritual and architectural heritage; visit old Shuamta monastery complex from 7th century, 11th century Alaverdi cathedral and 12th century Ikalto monastery and the former academy. Drive to Sighnaghi royal town built in 18th century, surrounded by fence and gates, related to the Great Silk Road. Taste organic wines. Transfer to Tbilisi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 - Tbilisi Sightseeing Tour

Breakfast in hotel. Sightseeing tour of Tbilisi, 5th century, extraordinary city with turbulent history, elegant and remarkable architecture. Walk through old town and explore the main historical and architectural sites, the National Museum. Optional cognac tasting at D. Sarajishvili cognac factory or optional visit at Sulfur bathhouses for Spa treatments. Dinner at traditional Georgian restaurant with folk performance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 - Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gudauri

Breakfast in hotel. Drive to Mtskheta, the town significant for its cultural monuments dated back from 5th century, UNESCO world heritage site. Continue to the north to Ananuri castle, epicenter of numerous battles from 13th century. Today attracts visitors with its unique architecture and perfect location. Continue drive to the north to ski resort Gudauri. Overnight at

Day 8 - Gudauri – Stepantsminda – Gudauri

Breakfast in hotel. Explore the Great Caucasus Range 1 hour drive to Stepantsminda (*former Kazbegi) through panoramic landscape, literally crossing the geographical border of Europe and Asia at 2379 m. Jvari pass. After arrival in Stepantsminda, start 2 hr hiking or *Optional 4WD drive to Gergeti trinity church located at 2180 m. dated to14th century; 2-3 hours hiking to explore Gweleti waterfalls. Return to Gudauri. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 9 - Gudauri – Uplistsikhe - Kutaisi

Breakfast in hotel. Depart west Georgia, Kutaisi, the second largest city. Excursion to Uplistsikhe rock-hewn city from 1 millennium BC. Passing Rickoti tunnel, brief stop at “Shrosha” clay market. Arrive in Kutaisi.


*Optional evening walking tour in the city center. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 10 - Kutaisi – Bagrati – Gelati – Tbilisi

Breakfast in hotel. Visit Bagrati cathedral built in 1003 and 12th century Gelati monastery and the former academy. Walk in “Mtsvane Kvavila” Jewish quarter and visit old Synague. Cheese and honey tasting at one of the families en-route. Drive to Tbilisi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 - Sadakhlo – Dilijan – Lake Sevan - Yerevan

Breakfast in hotel. Drive to Georgia-Armenia border - Sadakhlo and after the border formalities trip continues to Armenia. Visit Dilijan and Lake Sevan, 10th century Haghpat architectural monument. Overnight at hotel in Yerevan, the capital city

Day 12 - Yerevan – Echmiadzin – Zvartnots Temple

Breakfast in hotel. Excursion to Echmiadzin cathedral 10th century. Visit 7th century St. Hripsime church and ruins of 7th century Zvartnuts temple. Overnight at hotel in Yerevan.

Day 13 - Khor Virab – Avan Canyon – Garni & Geghardafadfa

Breakfast in hotel. Depart for 7th -17th centuries Khor-Virab through Avan Canyon, visit Garni and Geghard monuments. Overnight at hotel in Yerevan, the capital city

Day 14 Departure

Transfer to Yerevan international airport.
