Overview
“The Dolomites “of the Caucasus – Chaukhi Massif offers an excellent rock climbing and trekking opportunities not only for experts but for the beginners as well. This extraordinary, challenging program starts from Khevsureti province – beautiful but widely unexplored area. Drive over Datisjvari pass 2676 m. to Barisakho village. Trekking route stretches through forest and half abounded village Roshka along the valley, passing mystical lakes of Abudelauri, following to the foot of the main Caucasus range to steep ascent to Chaukhi pass at 3338 m.– “the Dolomites” of the Caucasus – Must see place of each adventure lover!
The last part of the trial explores small dwellings of Khevi province, nestled on the hills, with shepherds farms and meadows. Finally approaching to Tbilisi, the capital city, where emotions, traditions and modern life is tightly interlinked and each participant can find own peace of joy for which it’s worth to come back again!
