Overview
The tour starts from the heart of Georgia, Tbilisi through the picturesque villages and forests. The trail is planned specially to pass through different kind of landscape. Trail consists of biking through deep forests, along picturesque lakes and exciting valleys.
Right in the beginning of the trip bike trail leaves populated areas and continues over passes of Trialeti Plateau. After pedaling steep uphill, bike trail descends to lake Tabatskuri. Impressive valleys of the Lesser Caucasus provides the atmosphere of natural bike park, with uninterrupted descends and stunning views. Trip continues to western Georgia over Goderdzi pass 2025 m. to Adjara province. This is the region where one can feel the difference of subtropical flora and closeness of the Black Sea.
Upper Adjara creates amazing conditions for freewheeling.
Trip ends in Batumi the center of Adjara region, offering great opportunities to relax on the beach with diverse nightlife.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival 1
Arrive in Tbilisi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Tbilisi – Tsalka - Tabatskuri
Breakfast in hotel. Early morning drive to Tsalka. Start biking from Tsalka through small villages to Tabatskuri Lake. Dinner and overnight at local guesthouse. Total: 5-6hr /40 km
Days 3 - Bike to Bakuriani
Breakfast in guesthouse. Bike from Tabatskuri Lake to Bakuriani over Tskhratskaro pass 2454 m. Descend from pass through amazing valley to Bakuriani mountain resort. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Bakuriani.
Day 4 - Bakuriani – Borjomi SPA - Zarzma
Breakfast in hotel. Bike from Bakuriani alpine village via Borjomi spa-resort to village Zarzma. *Optional visit to Zarzma monastery of 13th century. Dinner and overnight in local guesthouse. Total: 7-8hr /110 km.
Day 5 - Over Goderdzi pass
Breakfast in guesthouse. Early morning start biking over Goderdzi pass 2025, connecting Samtskhe-Javakheti with subtropical Adjara region. Descend from upper Adjara with wonderful small villages and magnificent views to the village Shuakhevi at 1200 m. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse in Shuakhevi. Total: 5-6hr / 60km.
Day 6 - Charming Black Sea Coast
Breakfast in guesthouse. Descend from Shuakhevi to Batumi – administrative center of Adjara region. Free evening in Batumi with vast opportunities of entertainment and possibility to rest on the beach. *Optional dinner at traditional Georgian restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7 - Leisure Time in Batumi
Breakfast in hotel. Leisure time at seaside, or:
*Optional hiking to Mtirala National Park
*Optional ride to Gonio fortification from 1st millennium BC, via boulevard
Farewell eve in Batumi. Overnight at hotel.
